"Warrior Poets"

Psalm 45 1 Beautiful words stir my heart.       I will recite a lovely poem about the king,       for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.   2 You are the most handsome of all.        Gracious words stream from your lips.       God himself has blessed you forever.   3 Put on your sword, O mighty warrior!       You are so glorious, so majestic!   4 In your majesty, ride out to victory,       defending truth, humility, and justice.       Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds!   5 Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies’ hearts.       The nations fall beneath your feet.   6 Your throne, O God, [ b ] endures forever and ever.       You rule with a scepter of justic...

Shut Up!

"Useless!" "Walang Kwenta!" "After 1 year wala ka man lang natulong sa kanila!" "You're nothing!" "Dependent" "Pabigat!" "Di ka man lang mahiya?" Revelation 12: "9 This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels." Lies. All of this are lies from the Enemy I've been hearing whole day. But it took all of my strength until it brought me to tears. Financially, I was not able to contribute to my parents even I was working for almost 1 year... And now, the conference is coming and I could not even contribute a single cent. For the tickets, accommodation and maybe even for our allowance in Manila, it will be provided by my Parents. And the enemy found it as an opening for his lies. "Di ka man lang nahiya?" ...that was the constant lie today. "Mahiya ka naman! Di ka na nga nakakabigay ng pera...

"I'm Ready."

Genesis 37: 12-13 His brothers had gone off to Shechem where they were pasturing their father's flocks. Israel said to Joseph, "Your brothers are with flocks in Shechem. Come, I want to send you to them." Joseph said, "I'm ready." "I'm Ready" ...I was struck by Joseph's response. Joseph had a dream. He dreamed dreams. And Yes, they were "Crazy Dreams". So crazy that his brothers "hated him even more" and "hated him more than ever because of his dreams and the way he talked." Even his father "reprimanded him". ...But Joseph was ready. When his father sent him out to the fields to his brothers, he was going, unknowingly towards his crazy dream. It was the beginning of his Journey to his Crazy Dream. ... But what if Joseph's response was "No", where would he be? - Maybe he would not have ended up on Egypt. - Maybe he did not become Potiphar's assistant. - Maybe if he wasn't temp...

"Magpaubos"

" 1 Abram was ninety-nine years old when the LORD appeared to him again and said, "I am God All-Powerful. If you obey me and always do right, 2 I will keep my solemn promise to you and give you more descendants than can be counted." 3 Abram bowed with his face to the ground, and God said: 4-5 I promise that you will be the father of many nations. That's why I now change your name from Abram to Abraham. [ a ] 6 I will give you a lot of descendants, and in the future they will become great nations. Some of them will even be kings. 7 I will always keep the promise I have made to you and your descendants, because I am your God and their God." Genesis 17:1-7 "Magpaubos" or be humbled down. My constant message to me last Sunday and Monday. As I was reading my Devotional, I saw how Abraham responded to God's Promise by kneeling and bowing face down. It's an illustration that when we come to God in prayer, we should come with humility or humbled d...

What it takes to be a Radiant Star?

Lord, thank you for the revelation... Daniel 12:3 (CEV) "3 Everyone who has been wise will shine as bright as the sky above, and everyone who has led others to please God will shine like the stars . " 2 Peter 1:19 Contemporary English Version (CEV) "19 All of this makes us even more certain that what the prophets said is true. So you should pay close attention to their message, as you would to a lamp shining in some dark place. You must keep on paying attention until daylight comes and the morning star rises in your hearts ."

Listen first...

Ezekiel 3 1 The voice said to me, “Son of man, eat what I am giving you—eat this scroll! Then go and give its message to the people of Israel.” 2 So I opened my mouth, and he fed me the scroll. 3 “Fill your stomach with this,” he said. And when I ate it, it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth. 4 Then he said, “Son of man, go to the people of Israel and give them my messages. 5 I am not sending you to a foreign people whose language you cannot understand. 6 No, I am not sending you to people with strange and difficult speech. If I did, they would listen! 7 But the people of Israel won’t listen to you any more than they listen to me! For the whole lot of them are hard-hearted and stubborn. 8 But look, I have made you as obstinate and hard-hearted as they are. 9 I have made your forehead as hard as the hardest rock! So don’t be afraid of them or fear their angry looks, even though they are rebels.” 10 Then he added, “Son of man, let all my words sink deep into your own heart...

Just ALL that I AM (Psalm 103)

"1 Let all that I am praise the L ord ; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name." Lord, with all that I am praise you. What does it mean "all that I am?" I AM right now is not so good. I AM might not be a worthy offering. I Am right not is frustrating. Weak. Tired. Imperfect. Sweating. Hungry. Thirsty. Complaining. I AM. But ALL THAT I AM is what you want to Praise you. "2 Let all that I am praise the L ord ; may I never forget the good things he does for me." ALL THAT I AM will praise you. Not because of my goodness but Because of YOUR GOODNESS. Lord, there are times I forget all you've done, instead, I think of what I'm doing for you. "5 He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!" 14 For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust." Lord, how mindful you are! You knew that I AM weak. You promise renewed strength like the eagle's. You know m...
“From Everlasting to Everlasting” - Daily Devotional 13 Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and amen! Psalm 41:13 28 Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. Isaiah 40:28 Everlasting: - Eternal duration; eternity. - never coming to an end; eternal - continuing forever or in...
