Just ALL that I AM (Psalm 103)

"1 Let all that I am praise the Lord;
with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name."

Lord, with all that I am praise you.
What does it mean "all that I am?"
I AM right now is not so good.
I AM might not be a worthy offering.
I Am right not is frustrating.
Weak.
Tired.
Imperfect.
Sweating.
Hungry.
Thirsty.
Complaining.
I AM.
But ALL THAT I AM is what you want to Praise you.

"2 Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me."

ALL THAT I AM will praise you.
Not because of my goodness but Because of YOUR GOODNESS.
Lord, there are times I forget all you've done, instead, I think of what I'm doing for you.

"5 He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!"
14 For he knows how weak we are;
he remembers we are only dust."

Lord, how mindful you are! You knew that I AM weak. You promise renewed strength like the eagle's. You know me Lord. You know who I AM.

"8 The Lord is compassionate and merciful,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
9 He will not constantly accuse us,
nor remain angry forever.

10 He does not punish us for all our sins;
he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.

11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.

12 He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.

13 The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
Our days on earth are like grass;
like wildflowers, we bloom and die.
16 The wind blows, and we are gone—
as though we had never been here.
17 But the love of the Lord remains forever
with those who fear him."

Lord, You are Patient with me. You really know who I AM.
You know that at times I AM stubborn, I stumble and make mistakes. But you are slow to Anger. You remind me that even how many times I fail you, YOU are filled (Umaapaw!) w/ unfailing Love. Your love is not just unfailing, it is also infinite. I know Lord we will soon be gone. You know that our time is short, yet, you God who is infinite and everlasting remains the same.

Why do I keep reminding myself of my sins? When God took it all away as far from the East is from the West. Do you know how far that is?
Definition: "one never actually gets to "east" or "west". It is an unobtainable goal, so the matter isforever. When God says "as far as the East is from the West" it means forever because one can never travel to either destination as a destination."

That's how far you took my Sins away!

You Lord Our Father- Tender and compassionate.

Today, Lord Renew My strength. I am weak and tired. But Lord just like what you promised, Renew my strength just like the Eagle's!!

Radiant Eagerl Takes Flight!!!

Bring them back to Repentance? IMPOSSIBLE

This message in Hebrews 6:4 to 6, can be a warning to 3 people: Those who ‘turned away from God”; Those who have not ‘turned away from God and; Those who know people who “turned from God”.   It stands as a warning to us.  Have we heard God’s voice and trembled? I don’t mean fear that keeps us from coming to God, but the kind of fear that is spoken in Proverbs as “the foundation of wisdom.” We fondly pray that God would speak to us and hear His voice but do we really know what we are praying? It reminded me of the Israelites who were at the foot of Mount Sinai. When they heard God’s thunderous voice, they did not dare come nearer and asked Moses to speak in their behalf (Deuteronomy 5:23-27). To quote Francis Chan, “When you pick up your Bible, you are actually holding something better than a voice coming out of a cloud on the top of a mountain.” So this warning must really create a Holy fear in us that will keep us from turning away from God. It ...

Blogging again!

I miss blogging! So after nights of sipping on my coffee and thinking (and also looking at the stack of paper of all my preaching notes) I've decided to blog them. :D Since becoming a pastor 3 years ago, I would prepare for my sermons or preaching every week. It doesn't include the time I would also prepare for my G12 cell group with my core leaders and opencell life groups we conduct. I also have notes for every class I conduct on our Post-encounter, School of Leaders 1 and 2. So yes, if material is the question, no doubt I have plenty of those. Then I also though of what I am passionate about. It was always been this- reading, writing and speaking. It's also a way to keep my leaders updated of all that's happening to the church here in Kabacan; where the Spirit of God is leading us and what are some of the issues that needs to be addressed as it also resonates in the emphasis of each preaching I share. If you happen to read one of my blog posts feel free to co...

We All Have Two Women inside of us (if you're one) or with us (if you are a Man): the Wife or the Mistress

Whenever I read the book of Proverbs, I always want to be like her. Wisdom is always defined and personified as a woman calling out to the simpleminded and those who lack good judgement to join her in her feast. Can you imagine that? Wisdom is like a banquet host. What she says, the words of wisdom are like a home cooked meal! Partaking wisdom is like eating. Much like in Psalm 34:8 it says, "taste and see". I always liked her. Actually I wanted to be like her. Each chapter that she is described differently but makes me want more to be like her. Persistent and Unashamed In Proverbs 1 she is a Persistent Woman and unashamed. She calls out, cries out even in the public and to the crowds. She persistently calls out to share not just her counsel but even her own heart. I am greatly challenged by this as a pastor and discipler. When, just like Wisdom, you also experienced this lines: “I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you pai...
