Miscarriage: Minsan Sanggol, Madalas Pangarap

Youth Reload Presents: ‪#‎MinsanMadalasSeries‬
"Miscarriage: Minsan Sanggol, Madalas Pangarap"

"Yang mga pangarap mo…Para yang pagbubuntis. Nagsimula sa maliit hanggang sa lumaki. At isang araw dapat ng iire. Sobrang sakit pero pagnangyari na yan, makakalimutan mo lahat ng sakit at hirap!"

Pero paminsan kahit gaano pa natin hawakan ang ating mga pangarap, madalas nalalag at nasisira parin? ‪#‎hugot‬

"Miscarriage"- the expulsion of a fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently, especially spontaneously or as the result of accident.
- an unsuccessful outcome of something planned.
John 15: 1-8
“I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3 You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.
5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. 7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! 8 When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

1. REMAIN IN JESUS(IN HIM)- Verse 4,
- Pano matutupad ang dreams mo if wala ka nakakapit sa Giver and fulfiller of dreams?
"Para matupad ang iyong mga pangarap, dapat kay Lord nakahawak!"
- Mindset natin: "For Apart from Jesus, I can do NOTHING!" (verse 5). PAK GANERN!

"Pagmas nahihirapan at masakit- Dapat Kay Jesus Ka KUMAPIT!"

- Friends? Family? Own Strength? Sandali lang yan. Pero Kay Lord Pangmatagalan!
- Why? in Verse 6, we are like "useless branches".
- It doesn't mean apart from Jesus, you can't do anything- but it will just turn to nothing, useless, purposeless when you are not connected with God.
- kung makagraduate ka? magkatrabaho and makatulong sa magulang mo- it will be just a never ending cycle not knowing why we wake up and 'labor' for our dreams.
Practically...
2 REMAIN IN HIS WORD- Verse 7
"Ang taong may pinanghuhugotan, di matitinag kahit bagyo ang daanan!"
Prov. 10:25- "When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation."
Anong kinakapitan mo kay Lord?
Anong pampakapit mo sa iyong mga pangarap?
if para sa iyo after ilang taong hirap ay magbubunga- how much more if may Word ka kay Lord?
"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jer. 29:11
Eh ikaw?
(1 Cor.2:9)

3. REMAIN BEARING FRUIT- verse 8, What does it mean to bear fruit? Is it walking around with a piece of orange hanging on your ears?! in Col. 1:6
"This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace."
- Bearing fruit is Changing. Useless ang pagremain in Jesus and His Word if wala ka nagbago. Word of God is like a Tree- you know a tree by its fruit. If its a good tree- good fruit and Good Change!
How? Verse 1-3:
"I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. 3 You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you."
"Cuts off"- May mga bagay, ugali, hobbies, o tao sa buhay mo na pag di mo macut off ang connection- will keep you from changing and cause you to "miscarriage" your dreams. Think about it.
"Prunes"- cut off the growth to bear fruit more. to change even more. Discipline. ‪#‎YRMinsanMadalas‬ ‪#‎BCCKabacanMinistry‬

Blogging again!

I miss blogging! So after nights of sipping on my coffee and thinking (and also looking at the stack of paper of all my preaching notes) I've decided to blog them. :D Since becoming a pastor 3 years ago, I would prepare for my sermons or preaching every week. It doesn't include the time I would also prepare for my G12 cell group with my core leaders and opencell life groups we conduct. I also have notes for every class I conduct on our Post-encounter, School of Leaders 1 and 2. So yes, if material is the question, no doubt I have plenty of those. Then I also though of what I am passionate about. It was always been this- reading, writing and speaking. It's also a way to keep my leaders updated of all that's happening to the church here in Kabacan; where the Spirit of God is leading us and what are some of the issues that needs to be addressed as it also resonates in the emphasis of each preaching I share. If you happen to read one of my blog posts feel free to co...

Bring them back to Repentance? IMPOSSIBLE

This message in Hebrews 6:4 to 6, can be a warning to 3 people: Those who ‘turned away from God”; Those who have not ‘turned away from God and; Those who know people who “turned from God”.   It stands as a warning to us.  Have we heard God’s voice and trembled? I don’t mean fear that keeps us from coming to God, but the kind of fear that is spoken in Proverbs as “the foundation of wisdom.” We fondly pray that God would speak to us and hear His voice but do we really know what we are praying? It reminded me of the Israelites who were at the foot of Mount Sinai. When they heard God’s thunderous voice, they did not dare come nearer and asked Moses to speak in their behalf (Deuteronomy 5:23-27). To quote Francis Chan, “When you pick up your Bible, you are actually holding something better than a voice coming out of a cloud on the top of a mountain.” So this warning must really create a Holy fear in us that will keep us from turning away from God. It ...

“Restless? Be STILL”

See the picture? That’s our University field. It’s so vast for me even I’ve seen it almost my whole life. Growing up inside the campus, growing up seeing all of these for 22 years, I still never get use to these. Peace. Lately, I’ve been struggling with peace. Heart. Mind. Body. Soul. Whenever I see this vastness I would dream again. That God would fill this with so many young people that will worship Him, give their lives to Him. And you know what? It excites me. And scares me. It makes me happy. And makes me nervous. Maybe it’s just really part of my personality. As Kabacan Ministry is taking off- Sunday services and open cells, my list of goals and dreams also increases. It’s not a bad thing- having goals are all important so that you would know if we really are progressing. “But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.” Phil3:16. Since all of these are happening,...
