raDcal Change

During my Devo I had a wonderful revelation and God revealed this to me. I am reading Matthew 20:29-34, the story about the two Blind Men Jesus healed.

” Jesus was followed by a large crowd as he and his disciples were leaving Jericho. Two blind men were sitting beside the road. And when they heard that Jesus was coming their way, they shouted, “Lord and Son of David, have pity on us!” When Jesus heard them, HE stopped and asked them, “What do you want me to do for you?” answered, “Lord, we want to see!” Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. At once they could see and they became his followers.”

Here are my insights.

1.) Respond- God is always calling us. All we have to do is respond. Like the two blind men, they heard that Jesus was coming so they responded by shouting. We could also shout but Jesus is one sincere prayer away. All we need is to cry out to Him.

2.) Admit- the two blind men shouted admittedly that they need Jesus. They were asking for His Pity. Like them, when we cry out to Jesus, we should admit that we are weak, in need of change and of our weaknesses.

3.) Desire- as we respond and admit that we need God in our Life, we should desire Him more. The two blind men were rebuked and silenced but they continue to shout. Like them, when others judge us or discourage us we must desire for Him even more. If we are doing and desiring for the Lord and others try to stop us, we are in the road of recovery.

4.) Confess- as we desire for change and for God, we must confess that. We must proclaim that we really want it. Like the 2 Blind men, Jesus Specifically asked them what they want. Jesus already knew but he wants us to tell Him personally and specifically. If we want to be freed from bondage of a sin, financial breakthrough, we have to tell him that.

5.) Action or Accept- Take action and accept the change. Like them, they took action and accepted Christ’s healing. They let him touch them. If An Encounter with God is needed for our desired change, Join an Encounter. Attend Open cell and Reloads. And accept the change. After experiencing God’s Healing, there will be big changes, we must accept it all and..

6.) Live and Lead- Live for Him and lead others who are blind to the Light. Live for His will and Grace just like the 2 blind men who were healed. We should also lead others since we used to be in the dark and be used as light to those in the dark.

Hope you received your portion while reading this.. Thanks!!!!

To God be the Glory!!!

WANT TO WALK ON WATER? STEP OUT OF YOUR BOAT!

Sometimes I get frustrated in discipleship.  My frustrations might seem directed towards people but its actually the FEARS thats eating them alive. I am angry at that. I really want to send them back to where they belong. I mean the Fear ha? Not the person! But at the same time you feel very helpless to help the person. You can't help someone unless they want the help. In my reverie, I thought of one of my rhemas lately in prayer. It was Peter walking on water in Matthew14:27-31. As I dwell in the Word, I also felt what Peter was going through. Have you ever tried wanting to experience something soooooo amazing it requires something from you really crazy? I dont really know what Peter's intentions were when he decided to step out of the boat and walked on water. It might have sounded like a way for him to prove it was really Jesus walking on water. So he asked Jesus to call him out and Jesus said, "Yes, come." (But as for me in my curre...

Hospital Beds, IV's and Birthdays

Last September 28, 2011, Wednesday was Ate Myra's Birthday. Sadly, she was admitted at the DMSF Hospital a night before because she had a seizure and hyperventilated. On her birthday I dropped by Ma Anne since I was just around PISD (official business po)... While I was there I asked her if I could stay for lunch since my next appointment would be after lunch. She suggested that if I could visit ate Myra at the hospital. I agreed. She asked me to bring te Myra bananas (isang piling ng saging na may love letter ni Ma Anne, jajaja!!).. Then Off I go!! I arrived at hospital before lunch. Ate Joy (one of Ma Anne's P12) was with her. We chatted then I gave her the bananas (jejeje...she was overwhelmed. Very touched!!) She shared to me what happened why she was rushed to the ER and now admitted to the hospital. And how God was gracious with her, blessing her with classmates, teachers, C.I's and even their dean on her admission. Even the room was already reserved for another patie...

Bring them back to Repentance? IMPOSSIBLE

This message in Hebrews 6:4 to 6, can be a warning to 3 people: Those who ‘turned away from God”; Those who have not ‘turned away from God and; Those who know people who “turned from God”.   It stands as a warning to us.  Have we heard God’s voice and trembled? I don’t mean fear that keeps us from coming to God, but the kind of fear that is spoken in Proverbs as “the foundation of wisdom.” We fondly pray that God would speak to us and hear His voice but do we really know what we are praying? It reminded me of the Israelites who were at the foot of Mount Sinai. When they heard God’s thunderous voice, they did not dare come nearer and asked Moses to speak in their behalf (Deuteronomy 5:23-27). To quote Francis Chan, “When you pick up your Bible, you are actually holding something better than a voice coming out of a cloud on the top of a mountain.” So this warning must really create a Holy fear in us that will keep us from turning away from God. It ...
