I miss blogging! So after nights of sipping on my coffee and thinking (and also looking at the stack of paper of all my preaching notes) I've decided to blog them. :D
Since becoming a pastor 3 years ago, I would prepare for my sermons or preaching every week. It doesn't include the time I would also prepare for my G12 cell group with my core leaders and opencell life groups we conduct. I also have notes for every class I conduct on our Post-encounter, School of Leaders 1 and 2. So yes, if material is the question, no doubt I have plenty of those. Then I also though of what I am passionate about. It was always been this- reading, writing and speaking.
It's also a way to keep my leaders updated of all that's happening to the church here in Kabacan; where the Spirit of God is leading us and what are some of the issues that needs to be addressed as it also resonates in the emphasis of each preaching I share.
If you happen to read one of my blog posts feel free to comment but here's a few reminders:
- I only speak (and write) the Truth of which I write about.
- My Ideals and perspective is shaped by who I believe in and that's Jesus
- What I have written is what the Spirit of God revealed to me at the same time after extensive and careful study of scripture and other sources like commentaries, quotes and dictionaries.
- If you have other negative things to comment you can just send a personal message rather than post it in my blog. I created this blog for the sole purpose of glorifying God and being a blessing to others.
- This blog is intended for people who are seeking deeper understanding of God's word.
Lastly, this blog is also intended for my disciples who are now in the level of being sent to other places to plant churches. Since most of the time they are far away and miss our Sunday services because they also need to go to their places and minister, this blog is for them so they won't be left behind of what is happening in the church.
I'll be posting all of my past sermons from 2011 up to present. Some of it came right out of my daily devotional. Some God has spoken in Prayer. I hope that this Words give fresh revelation and life to you. God Bless!
Soli Deo Gloria!
