"But I have no Choice."

"14  In the same way, the Lord ordered that those who preach the Good News should be supported by those who benefit from it.   15   Yet I have never used any of these rights .  And I am not writing this to suggest that I want to start now. In fact,  I  would rather die than lose my right to boast about preaching without charge.   16  Yet preaching the Good News is not something I can boast about.   I am compelled by God to do it. How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News! 17  If I were doing this on my own initiative, I would deserve payment.   BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE , for God has given me this sacred trust.   18  What then is my pay? It is the opportunity to preach the Good News without charging anyone.  That’s why I never demand my rights when I preach the Good News."  1 Corinthians 9:14-18

#TBT

It's Thursday and it's exactly 4:15 am in my clock. I woke up very early with the intention of finishing my assignments but God woke me up for another thing- Throwback Thursday. My thoughts go out to you. I look back the three years I've spent for the Lord and their would be many faces that would cross my mind. Some of them from the very beginning of my walk with God and some, who came to my life just recently. You are in my thoughts. As I do this #TBT, I look back if there are things I've repented(not regretted) doing after 3 years. Spending my life for God's glory- I will never repent that but if there were here are some: "I wish I gave my best when God asked me to." "I wish I was more loving, patient and gentle at that time." "I wish I did not gave up so easily" "I wish I was more watchful at that time." "I wish I listened more to God." "I wish I obeyed first before I complained." "I wish ...

HE IS WORTH GETTING TO KNOW

I shared this Closecell topic last Nov. 8, 2013. My objectives were; To change the way we interact with God; To re-examine our motives especially with our relationship with Him and shift it to a formal note to the intimate; That getting to know God does not end on the ‘first meeting’ or encounter but to really have a full knowledge of Him, it takes a lot of time and many meet ups with Him, at times mundane and at times exciting. But all the same a moment of getting to know Him. “God is a person and in the deep of His Mighty nature He thinks, wills, enjoys, feels, loves, desires and suffers as any other person may.”- A.W. Tozer. (Pursuit of God, p.17). I started with this quote because that’s where I was going to focus- that God is like a person and has a personality. So why is there a difficulty for many and even those who already encountered Him of getting to know Him? If God has a personality, so do us. God has a personality and so do we. Since all of us are made in His i...

Comparison and Contrast Book-turned-Movies: The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. In the beginning there was the book. And the book became film. In this day and age, filmmakers have turned books into films, whether it was an old timeless classic or a book currently gaining much popularity. Fiction or non-fiction; classic or fantasy; no matter the genre- production companies would try to capture the same enthusiasm and fervour this books have created within the mass and translate it into films. Thus, in the beginning there was the book and the book became film. One of these books turned to film was The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe written by C.S Lewis. Its fantasy film adaptation was released last December 9, 2005. From then on, sequels were released last 2008 (Prince Caspian) and 2010 (the Voyage of the Dawn Treader ) that was also based on the Chronicles of Narnia book series. Although, both the book and the fi...
