Para sa mga mahilig magsabi ng "MAGPAHINGA MUNA AKO FROM MINISTRY": Realized something today: kung mapagod at mapapagod ka talaga in life, magserve ka man o hindi, the best way to relax and "MAGPAHINGA"..ay hindi yung lumayo at huminto sa pagchurch service at di magpakita sa leaders mo. Its the opposite of it all. Our family na akala ng karamihan ay pagsunday lang nagseserve but in reality everyday. We surrendered to God our privacy in all aspects as we obeyed God and opened not just our home but also our lives through the ministry to loving Him and loving people. And yes, its not easy. May mga araw na we would crave also to rest. MAGPAHINGA. Yet we spent time to rest sa davao. We didnt sleep in an amazing hotel. We didn't eat at the most expensive restaurants... Instead we just spent more time with our leaders just talking with them and Listened to our pastors. We didn't go shopping. Instead, we focused on having each other. I think we just got all ...

You passed by and i saw what God promised me for so long. Like the Israelites and Moses, the Promised Land they have longed for forty years. As for me, 40 days (multiplied to the many times i prayed and fasted for you). You were the one described in 1 Corinthians 2:9 as the one my 'eyes have never seen, my ears have never heard and my mind have never imagined' as i continue to love Jesus. But am i like Moses? Doomed to just look at the Promised land on Pisgah peak but never to cross the Jordan? After the long and winding journey, many wanderings and years of waiting-will i ever get to cross to the other side? Or will i just look at You my Promise and be content with 'should-have-been-mine' notion for the rest of my life?

When you come it wont be like what the movies potrayed. No slow motion. No spark. No emotional climax. Instead, it will be an instant like a blink of an eye. You were already there before I knew when, how or why. When you come it would be like how many times you've passed me by. You have already passed before I lifted my eyes, following a trail of you. I felt your presence as you passed by For you filled that absence i have longed for so long to be filled. Your presence was so real because of your absence. My heart will ache not with hurt but with yearning, a deep sense of want that only you could fill in. When you finally come, I will see my future pass by. My past will make sense and my present will become a gift. And it did today as you passed me by. When will be that day when you would not just pass me by but stay? When will you finally come my way? All I can do is wait.

Proverbs 17:9  Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. The picture is from my prayer wall. I was reading my daily devotional and the verse above written really struck me.  The bible verse reminds me of an idiom-' burn one's bridges': Have you tried that?  I have. But most of the time i'm the one at the other side of the bridge watching others burn bridges. Whether you are in the ministry or not, serving people or not, people will come and go. As a minister, you can pour out your life and give your best and still people will leave.  Oh I can get over every time someone walks off. Its nothing personal no matter how personal my occupation is. What saddens me is not why they left(everyone has reaaons. Its not always bout you), but how they left. I have tried experiencing the usual 'changing of numbers so I won't be able to contact them'.  Or The usual 'avoid me game' and even 'blocking me ...

Proverbs 3:3-4 Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. +FAVOR from Men and God? Keep Loyalty. Be Loyal. And be Kind even if people are not loyal or kind anymore.
